Tanosuke (田之介, Tanosuke) is a former soldier who got corrupted by Nihil and the elder brother of Osushi.
Personality[]
Prior to his corruption, he had a soft heart that innocent shouldn't been killed. After the corruption, he's had become so sadistic being a useful slave to the sword. He will stop at nothing to be used as pawn for the sword to fill up all the blood it can drink.
Plot[]
In the 1969 version he commited suicide by stabbing Nihil onto his own throat to prevent any other casualties while in 2019 he was slayed by Hyakkimaru.
