Ghouls are evil demons or monsters who associated with graveyard and consume human's flesh. After Kagemitsu Daigo made pacts with the 48 Demons. They scattered to the lands and eating inhabitants. After Hyakkimaru slayed The Twelfth Demon, the ghouls assumed to be vanquished.
